Gallery: Arkansas – Aug ’07
I just returned from a trip to Arkansas, and here are a few pictures. They’re all pictures of us out on the water. It was in the 90’s all week, and being on the lake was the best way to…
Forum no more
I’ve finished my testing of the SMF forum and its integration with WordPress. Overall the integration worked fine. I had to do a little bit of tweaking, but was able to get everything to work. I’ve removed the forum since…
A Forum
I’ve added a forum to the site. This is likely to be temporary; I’m just trying out a few things on this site to see what will work well and be useful on another site. If you want to take…
Gallery: Engagement
Yesterday afternoon, August 4th 2007, I asked Leah to marry me. We spent the day in Portsmouth New Hampshire. Portsmouth is a beautiful coastal town, it has many wonderful little shops and great restaurants. We walked around Prescott Park, which…

On the road from Boston to Ohio (I90 to I84 to I81 to I80), writing from my Treo 650 (no spell check). I’m in New York state munching on cheese & caramel popcorn. Not cheese popcorn and caramel popcorn, mind…
Maybe it’s time for digital?
I’ve been avoiding purchasing a digital camera for a long time, mainly because I’m a purist, but also because I like working in the darkroom for hours with film and paper, coming out smelling like fixer and hypo. Besides those…
Gallery: California, 07
I’ve made several updates to the gallery recently. Besides the major change of implementing the flash gallery, I’ve also uploaded pictures of our recent trip to California. Update: August 2007: I’ve changed the gallery system for jseggers.com. Galleries are now…
Updates, glorious updates!
You may have noticed that there have been some major changes around here. I’m pleased to tell you that I’ve now set up WordPress for my site. This will allow me to make new posts to the site with great…
